Wigan Athletic and Burnley are keeping a watching brief on Swansea City striker Jason Scotland. Agent Mike Berry has hinted that the two Lancashire clubs are potential suitors.

"I've heard nothing official but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Roberto (Martinez) came in for Jason because he has had him before," Berry told Setanta Sports.

"I know that Roberto rates Jason very, very highly and thinks that he can play at the highest level so it's a case of 'watch this space' really

"The other interesting one is Owen Coyle at Burnley who I know is very, very interested in Jason having had him before at St Johnstone. Once again, it's a case of watch this space."
