PREMIER LEAGUE: Ten man Chelsea earn dramatic late draw at Swansea

Swansea looked on course for a famous and deserved victory over Chelsea until the Blues grabbed a fortunate late goal to grab a point in a 1-1 draw. Swansea have only lost once at home this season and deservedly went in at half-time a goal to the good thanks to former Chelsea youngster Scott Sinclair who scored with a wonderful volley against his old team.

Chelsea had struggled in the first period to impose themselves but improved after the break to put the Swans under pressure as they chased an equaliser.

But Swansea refused to buckle as befits a team who defeated Arsenal in their last home game and they seemed assured of another impressive win when Ashley Cole was dismissed with six minutes remaining for a second bookable offence.

The team who had conceded just six goals at the Liberty Stadium all season looked to have weathered the storm until deep into stoppage time.

Blues full back Jose Bosingwa sent over a hopeful low cross which clipped the heel of defender Neil Taylor which cruelly deflected the ball past keeper Michael Vorm.
