Josh Brownhill is happy to stay at League One Preston, despite reports of Premier League interest in the North End. Now Preston are in talks to hand the 17 year old a long-term deal as sources close to the club have told Sky Sports that Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Fulham, Stoke, Swansea and Southampton are amongst the clubs to have checked on him in recent weeks.
A spokesman for Cassius Management, who represent the player, told Sky Sports that they could not confirm any interest in the player, saying: "Josh is very happy at Preston having made his debut and wants to repay the manager, club and fans for their faith in him.
"We will hold talks with the club over a professional deal for him and that is all we can say at the moment."
