Stoke City secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over 10-man Norwich City at the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday night.
Gary O'Neil received his marching orders on the half-hour mark after a clumsy tackle on Ibrahim Allefay which gave the Potters the ascendency which they did not take advantage of until early in the second half.
Jon Walters scored four minutes in from six yards, getting on the end of a cross from Marko Arnautovic, before Jonny Howson half-volleyed home for the Canaries six minutes later.
Spanish striker Joselu restored the Potters' lead in the 67th minute after taking a touch and firing home before an own-goal from Norwich's Ryan Bennett completed a 3-1 victory for Mark Hughes' men.
Stoke now sit seventh on the Premier League table, just four points out of the top four, while Alex Neil's Norwich find themselves 15th following their 10th defeat of the campaign.
