Premier League split to discuss FFP

Premier League clubs are taking Financial Fair Play seriously.

The Daily Mail says Financial Fair Play is such a hot potato for the Premier League that the 20 clubs will be split into North and South groups of 10 for meetings next week to allow for a more coherent debate around the table on the complicated way forward.

The three clubs most against spending controls are the richest two - Manchester City and Chelsea - as well as Fulham, whose owner Mohamed Fayed objects to being told how he spends his money.
