PREMIER LEAGUE: Man City come from behind to down Fulham

PREMIER LEAGUE: Man City come from behind to down FulhamManchester City have given their uncertain beginning to the title defence some assuredness with a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The reigning champions fell behind when John Arne Riise was impeded by Pablo Zabaleta as he attempted to cut into the box from the left with Mladen Petric stepping up to send Joe Hart the wrong way.

From then on, City dominated proceedings and managed to level minutes before half-time when Sergio Aguero poked home from close range after Mark Schwarzer had saved David Silva's reaction effort from Carlos Tevez's attempt from range.

On the hour-mark, Aguero was inches wide when he looped a header just past the far upright from Zabaleta's cross before Edin Dzeko smashed home an 87th minute winner just 60 seconds after coming on to give City their third win of the campaign.

Fulham: 1 (Mladen Petric (p) 10') Manchester City: 2 (Sergio Aguero 43', Edin Dzeko 87')
