Xherdan Shaqiri says he has been enjoying his time in the Premier League so far.

Despite all the criticism coming his way for joining Stoke City, Shaqiri has made a very good impression in his first few matches in the Premier League.

Shaqiri is enjoying his time in England and is loving the fact that every match feels like a spectacle.

The Swiss international said: "It's a fast league. It goes back and forth and even with nine men we were still trying to score against a West Brom side who were determined to keep a clean sheet.

"The pace, the fans and a coach who believes in me are all great. The style of football is quite different from Italy and of course it is much better here. It has every aspect, it's just much more appealing to play football. It is always a spectacle."
