PREMIER LEAGUE: Hull ease pressure on boss Brown, West Ham lose at home and Fulham grab point at Wigan

Hull left it late against Stoke, whilst Everton won for the first time in five and Wigan and Fulham shared the spoils. Hull came from behind to collect three priceless points against Stoke City at the KC Stadium.

Matthew Etherington had put the visitors ahead in the first half but Seyi Olofinjana equalised against his former club and as the time ticked down substitute Vennegoor of Hesselink won it in the final minute.

Moments earlier Abdoulaye Faye was sent off for Stoke for a second yellow.

West Ham slipped back into the relegation zone after being beaten 2-1 at home to Everton who gratefully got back into winning ways.

Louis Saha put the Merseysiders against the run of play on 26 minutes.

Dan Gosling added a second just after the hour, but the Hammers were given a lifeline following an own goal by Tony Hibbert but they failed to take advantage.

Wigan had the majority of possession and chances but could only manage a 1-1 home draw with Fulham.

The Latics led through Emmerson Boyce's strike only for Clint Dempsey to grab an equaliser from the spot and then depend of keeper Mark Schwarzer to ensure a share of the spoils.
