Premier League clubs not exactly enthusiastic about Prince William World Cup message

Premier League clubs didn't exactly get behind Prince William's appeal to fans to support England's 2018 World Cup bid on the weekend.

The Daily Mail says Bolton Wanderers hardly gave the England 2018 letter to fans from Prince William carried in Premier League match programmes this weekend the prominence expected.

It was to be found buried on page 75. Not much better were Wigan (p65), Aston Villa (p63), Stoke (p47), Everton (p45) and Wolves (p41).

At least Fulham managed to find space for the royal message on page 13, while Spurs and Newcastle had it on page nine and Manchester United on page five.
