Former Chelsea transfer flop Timo Werner may be set to reunite against his old club in the near future.
The speedy forward is no longer in demand at his club side RB Leipzig this season.
Werner has fallen out of favor, with the club's sporting director Rouven Schroder admitting as much.
"We're looking at the squad," Schroder said.
"We'll have players who have something else in mind. We'll face that. He's [Werner] going through a difficult phase, we support him.
“It's not always all sunshine and roses. If someone has the issue that they want to do something else, then we'll deal with it."
Per The Mirror, reports have linked Werner with a return to a Premier League club.
