Former Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli stands by his time as Italy coach.

He spoke to Radio Due and was asked if it was true that he hasn't watched an Italy game since his 2014 sacking.

“It's true. We had four incredible years, then just one game ruined everything. It's an open wound and always will be.

“I started coaching in 1990, I've been working non-stop for 25 years and now I am taking a break. It's a strange sensation."
