Sunderland boss Gus Poyet hopes to be busy in the winter market.

A loan deal for Fiorentina fullback Marcos Alonso has already been agreed.

"It is hard to put an exact number on how many I would like, but it would probably be three or four," Poyet said.

"It's unpredictable, though. A lot can happen."
