United are set to hire Graham Potter if they fire Erik ten Hag in the next few weeks.

That is the view of The Sun, with the outlet stating that Potter is the favorite for the job.

The ex-Brighton and Chelsea coach is a favourite of incoming investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The latter tried to hire Potter for his French club Nice in the past, which stands Potter in good stead for getting the United job.

Whether he would take on such a role after his struggles at Chelsea last season is another matter.
