Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is delighted with their swoop for Lucas Bergvall.

The Djurgarden midfielder, 18, will join Spurs in June.

"He's a very talented young man. Nice young man too, good family. He's already had a really positive start to his career and we feel like this club will be good for him and he will be good for us," Postecoglu told Swedish media after the 2-2 draw at Everton.

"Obviously he'll be at his club for the remainder of this season and then he'll join us in the summer and I'm looking forward to having him as part of the group."

Bergvall also said: "It is a fantastic feeling to sign for Tottenham and a dream to have the opportunity to play in the Premier League.

"I have received an incredibly warm reception from the club and feel really welcome. We are going out to dinner tonight with the family here in London. Then I join the training camp in Gran Canaria and meet up with my teammates in Djurgarden on Sunday. I am incredibly excited about the Allsvenskan spring season and will do everything to ensure that it ends in the best possible way."
