The agreement will give logistical support and the experience that the Lusitanian's have in running a competitive and attractive league.
The task force from the LFP (Liga Professional de Futebol de Portugal - Portuguese Professional Football League) signed an agreement with counterparts in the Indian Football Federation on Friday evening that will strengthen links between the two nations' footballing head honchos.
The Portuguese exec added that "We are giving full support with particular stress on the constructions of football academies at club level that will be able to help and orient those talents that may otherwise lack the conditions to let their abilities flourish", he added.
The idea is also bilateral as Portugal can enjoy spin-off benefits from the agreement. "If we can strengthen the basic facilities and improve the development of players then there is bound to be mutual benefit with Indian players coming to the BWin Liga as they'll have better visibility in Portugal", he explained to Gazeta Esportiva.
