Portugal's camp insist there's no injury concerns for Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Reports suggest Ronaldo is battling to overcome his knee strain.

"Cristiano was wearing the bandage as a precaution, as we all do when we have any issue," Portugal midfielder Joao Moutinho said.

The press officer for the team, managed by Paulo Bento, backed up Moutinho's comments and described reports emerging on Twitter of a new injury as a "joke".
