Portsmouth's Primus happy after knee op

Portsmouth defender Linvoy Primus has declared knee surgery carried out by Dr Richard Steadman as a success.

The veteran will be on crutches for another two months but is optimistic after the operation.

"The operation seemed to go very well," he said. "Mr Steadman was very pleased with how it went.

"It has been a frustrating time for me, especially after last season which was fantastic."
