Portsmouth fans face a lifetime ban if they're caught hurling abuse at Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp on Sunday.

A club statement read: "Harry Redknapp's move to Tottenham, followed by Jermain Defoe's switch, means the game is the subject of even greater attention.

"Please don't let us down. Any fans involved in indecent chanting or disorder will be dealt with by the club with the possibility of a lifetime ban.

"They will also be dealt with by the police."
