Released Manchester City fullback Michael Ball has rejected an offer from Notts County.

The Sun says free agent Ball has decided against dropping into League Two following two seasons at Eastlands.

Ball is fit again following knee surgery and is attracting interest from Portsmouth and Turkish side Galatasaray.

Megabucks County, favourites to stroll their division, are only in sixth spot - five points behind leaders Bournemouth.
