Portsmouth have signed De Laet on loan.
The highly-rated Belgian, 22, has been on loan at Preston and Sheffield United this season.
Meanwhile, Cardiff and Norwich are showing interest in Portsmouth' midfielder Michael Brown who is unable to play due to a contract wrangle.
