Portsmouth goalkeeper David James is again being heavily linked with Tottenham.
The 39-year old shot-stopper, who is expected to be named in England's World Cup squad, is reportedly wanted again by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp who could sign him on a free transfer in the next window.
Redknapp is hoping to strengthen the squad that finished fourth in the league, qualifying them for Champions League action next season, and it seems that James would cost a lot less coming as a free agent after his duties with Portsmouth finish with Saturday's FA Cup final against Chelsea.
