Portsmouth insist Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim will alone be the club's new owner.

Pompey spokesman Gary Double told The News: ''The deal is going through due diligence, we are in the second week now. The due diligence should be sorted out by the end of next week.

"Once that's sorted out we should be in a position by July to get it all sorted. There are no hassles as far as we are concerned.

"How can someone introducing someone to somebody else affect the takeover?

"I don't think anyone can question any credibility of Al Fahim at all. He's up for the challenge. We are looking forward to welcoming Dr Al Fahim to the club by July at the latest."
