Portsmouth defender Matt Clarke is set to undergo a medical before securing a move to Brighton.
The Sun reports that the 22-year-old defender will go through his medical tests tomorrow before signing a contract.
It is a transfer that will go ahead for a £3.4 million fee, which could rise to £5 million with add-ons.
Clarke is set to sign a four-year deal with the Premier League club, who are hoping to improve their team to push up the table in the coming season.
Graham Potter sees the centre-back as a key signing as he builds a new look team after taking over from Chris Hughton this summer.
Clarke played 175 games for Pompey during a four-year stint at the club.
