Portsmouth boss Paul Hart was coy last night over imminent signings Tommy Smith, the Watford striker, and Lens' Aruna Dindane.

After their Carling Cup victory over Hereford, Hart would only say: "Smith is one of many on an ever-expanding list. I said before the game, that list is now becoming legendary.

"Dindane's done. Did you know his first name is Dan? Dan Dindane's done."
