Portsmouth boss Tony Adams is determined to hold onto midfielder Niko Kranjcar.

Tottenham are chasing the Croatia international and Adams said: "He's a good player, I love watching him, working with him - he's a fantastic footballer.

"I thought he really worked. He came deep a little bit in search of the ball.

"When we did get it into him he was exceptional."
