Portsmouth administrator cools Cotterill rumours

Portsmouth administrator Andrew Andronikou has played down talk of Steve Cotterill being appointed manager.

Cotterill left Notts County this week fueling talk he would immediately be installed as manager of Pompey.

But Andronikou told the Guardian: "We are working through the process to find a new manager. The most I can say is that we hope to reach a decision at the end of next week. Whatever Steve's done today - you can put two and two together but you won't get the right sum. I believe he might be talking to a few different clubs."
