Porto ace James Rodriguez has told Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson he'd welcome a move to Old Trafford this summer. Record says United held talks with the Colombian's camp towards the end of last season about a transfer, before agreeing to step away from the negotiating table while he was involved in World Cup qualifiers this month.
However, with Rodriguez's international commitments now over, talks have again intensified - as this week's speculation in the European press suggests.
During the previous round of negotiations, Rodriguez made it clear to Ferguson he'd welcome a switch to United.
