Porto have rejected an offer from Manchester United to include Anderson in their bid for James Rodriguez.

The Mirror says reports in Portugal hint that Porto have already turned down a £30m offer for the Colombian winger, who is thought to have a £40m buy-out clause in the five-year contract he signed with the club last summer.

It is thought that United may have tried to chip in with a cheeky cash-plus-player bid, using Anderson as a makeweight - but that has been rebuffed by Porto.
