Porto ready to save Danilo from Man City nightmare

When Danilo signed for Manchester City from Real Madrid in the summer, he thought that he could revitalise his career.

However, things have not gone according to the plan the Brazilian may have had in his mind. He is not getting regular game time, and he only features when there are injury issues.

Danilo may have expected to get a chance at left back with the injury to Benjamin Mendy before the start of the season, but it is Fabian Delph that has taken on that spot.

With Walker a key member of the team at right back, Danilo wants to move on so he can secure a World Cup slot with Brazil. His squad place is in jeopardy if he barely plays for the rest of the season.

And now it appears that FC Porto want to help Danilo get his career back on track. It is where he was playing before the Real Madrid transfer, and a loan back to Porto would give him six months of regular football in the lead up to the World Cup.
