Porto manager Andre Villas-Boas continues to freeze out midfielder Raul Meireles. The Portugal World Cup star hasn't seen action this season after a summer of transfer speculation linking him with Manchester United and Chelsea.
Villas-Boas insists Meireles' head isn't in the game amid continued talk that United boss Sir Alex Ferguson sees him as a long-term successor for Paul Scholes.
"Raul is a very important player, who has helped to win many titles with club," Villas Boas said.
"When we have him in full, as a man and a player, we will count on him. Until the market closes, we must say that anything can happen. For example, my experience in Italy was that, on the last day of the window, it is very busy."
