Portland Timbers' Kah: If Dempsey was any good he'd still be at Tottenham

Portland Timbers defender Pa Modou Kah is evidently not a very big fan of Seattle Sounders ace Clint Dempsey.

The veteran Gambian took on the former Fulham and Tottenham forward in the Sounders' 1-0 win at CenturyLink Field but walked away unimpressed by arguably America's best-ever player.

"He's the best player in MLS? If he's the best … I've seen much, much better in Europe," said the former Valerenga, AIK Stockholm and Roda JC man.

"If he was so good, he would still be with Tottenham."

Kah, who joined the Timbers from Saudi Arabian club Al-Wehda in May, was responsible for giving away the free-kick from which Eddie Johnson scored the only goal of the clash which was played in front more than 67,000 fans on Sunday.
