Portland Timbers have acquired the services of Brad Ring from San Jose Earthquakes.
The 26-year old midfielder departs Buck Shaw Stadium after three-and-a-half years to join the Timbers in exchange for a 2014 MLS draft pick.
Ring arrived at San Jose via the 2009 SuperDraft and has appeared in 37 matches for the Quakes as both a midfielder and defender.
