Pontus Dahlberg has revealed Watford do not wish to loan him out.

The Swedish goalkeeper admits he wanted to leave in a temporary deal during January.

Dahlberg told GP: "I raised that question and asked what their plan was but the answer was clear that they did not want to loan me.

"They think I need to be here all the time and want me here. It's positive that they feel like that.

"I make new steps all the time and I am approaching more and more and getting closer (to a debut) now than compared to the first few months. I think I have become better at everything but, above all, have adjusted better to the pace."
