Pogba: Allegri always in touch; Evra knows Juventus fans different to Man Utd's

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba says he has returned "home" after re-signing for Juventus this week.

Pogba was presented to the local media on Tuesday morning.

He began: "I am happy to go home, this is how I feel here. You have all seen the welcome of the people, but this is something more than a dream. I am very very happy.

"The messages from the Juventus fans have always pleased me, even though I was focused on doing well at United. Last season, there was only one year left, I thought a lot about my return and here I am. Now I am happy and I am happy the fans.

"Pressure? What does it mean? (Laughs). I don't feel the pressure, I'm confident in myself and I just want to do well with Juventus."

On coach Max Allegri, he continued: "Even in Manchester I often talked to him, we have always had a great relationship and even before coming here I talked to him. I spent many beautiful years with him, coming back here today means doing it at the right time and with the right person.

"I believe in destiny, I'm happy with the choices I've made in my life. Life is like this, sometimes you make choices that don't go your way but I'm happy with the years in Manchester. I grew up, I learned, I became man ... I wasn't wrong, God wanted this and I'm just very happy to be here at Juventus today."

Pogba also said: "The fans obviously missed me because I felt that they were always behind me and behind the team. Even in Manchester they were there, even when I talked to (Patrice) Evra I always said that fans in Italy are different. Now that I'm back I have more experience, I know my body better and I am not so young anymore. Today there is a different team here. I learned a lot in Manchester, at all levels, and now I can help even the youngest of the team. At a technical level little has changed, I can help the team as I did before.

"There were other teams, but it's my heart that chose Juventus. I was fine here before and I'm fine now, I just want to do well. I can't wait to start and help the team, I hope to do well on the field, indeed I hope to do better than last time."
