Pochettino seeking 'Prem project' as Leicester linked

Mauricio Pochettino would need some convincing to take the Leicester City job.

Pochettino is currently in England and was in attendance at Wembley Stadium for England's Nations League game against Germany on Monday evening. The manager is said to be 'contemplating' his next move and taking in as many live games as possible while doing so, says the Telegraph.

The report adds that Pochettino is waiting for the 'right project' but is 'reluctant to take on a firefighting position'. It therefore means that he is not likely to be keen on taking on the role at the Foxes should it become available in the next few weeks.

The Argentine is available after his sacking by PSG over the summer.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is under huge pressure with the club rock bottom on the Premier League table.
