Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has warned his players their futures are on the line.

Aaron Lennon, Vlad Chiriches, Younes Kaboul, Paulinho, Etienne Capoue, Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor are likely to be allowed to depart White Hart Lane.

But Pochettino insisted: "I am always open. It is never too late. The players need to feel they always have the opportunity to show us that they can stay here. But we are starting to work on strengthening the team.

"My idea is to improve every season. That is what we are working very hard to identify where we can do that, to make our squad better for next year."
