Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that Moussa Sissoko will remain with Spurs this summer.
Tottenham splashed as much as £30million to acquire the services of Sissoko from Newcastle United last summer but the move failed to pay dividends as the Frenchman struggled at White Hart Lane in his debut season.
As a result, Sissoko was widely tipped to be leaving Tottenham this summer and to further fuel such speculation, the 27-year-old was left out of Spurs' pre-season tour of the United States.
West Bromwich Albion have recently expressed an interest in signing Sissoko but manager Mauricio Pochettino has now surprisingly insisted that the attacker is not leaving north London this summer.
Pochettino said: "He's training at the training ground. He's a member of the squad.
"He's in his plans for the season and he is for us a member of the squad."
