Platense keeper Mendoza attracting MLS interest

Platense goalkeeper Jose Mendoza suggests that he could be on his way to Major League Soccer this summer.

The promising gloveman was in top form for the Honduras U23 team in CONCACAF Olympic qualifying recently and those performances have attracted the attention of unnamed MLS and Swedish clubs according to reports.

Regarding his future, Mendoza told univisiondeportes.com that he could soon be on the move but stopped short of identifying exactly where his career would continue.

"I can not reveal the names of the teams that are interested in me, but you may know in May what my destiny," he said.
