Roma midfielder David Pizarro says the players are responding quickly to new manager Claudio Ranieri's methods.
Speaking to the Roma Channel, Pizarro said: "We have understood the trainer and his instructions. We are managing to put them into action.
"He does get through to us. Besides, he is from Rome and even when he screams it's important for us."
The Chile international then turned his attention to last night's game with Palermo, which ended in a 3-3 draw.
"We are happy. We managed to get a point on a barely playable pitch, but the important thing was seeing a team that fought tooth and nail."
