Despite interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, Pirlo declared: "I do have interest from great teams, but I'm happy at Milan. I still have a long contract and I think that there is no team better than this one.

"We're one of the strongest teams in Europe. I hope to end my career at Milan, I still have two years on my contract and I hope to renew for a longer period."

Pirlo added: "Ronaldinho? Unfortunately I have not yet been lucky enough to see or talk to him. I am very pleased, however, by the great buying campaign performed by Milan."
