Pirisi exclusive: 'Headstrong' Vignato destined for top amid Chelsea, Bayern Munich interest

He is certainly one of the greatest talents who has emerged in Italian football in recent years, in Italy journalists and insiders have been talking about him for several seasons now and this year seems to be the right time to shine for Emanuel Vignato.

He made his debut in Serie A in 2016, when he was only 16 years old, now he is leading Chievo in Serie B, but many great clubs have put their eyes on him, thanks to his performances, with both Italian and European clubs now watching closely.

Last year he already managed to score his first goal in Serie A, in 2017 there was a little appettiser with Francesco Totti who before Chievo-Roma asked him "who are you?", his first goal in Serie A was also against a big team in Lazio.

His early career seems to be predestined and this season in Serie B is confirming all the expectations created around him: he has already collected a goal and an assist.

His performances and potential has put him in the sights of huge clubs like Chelsea and Bayern Munich, according to Gazzette Dello Sport's Nicola Shira.

We talked about the possible developments of Vignato's career with Filippo Pirisi, local players agent and sports law expert, exclusively for Tribalfootball.com.

Here's what he told us about the young Chievo talent: "I think he is a great talent and he is a good guy with a good head on his shoulders.

"It doesn't surprise me that so many big European clubs are trying to buy him."

It seems all set for Vignato to make his way to a bigger stage. Indeed, many players of his age are still trying to leave the Youth Sector of their club, while he has already played in Serie A.

Pirisi adds, "I do not deny that I regret that Chievo has dropped into Serie B because, in my opinion, this year he could have confirmed himself in the top flight in a championship in which, finally, clubs are giving chances to many young players."
