Piotr Zielinski is set to be handed a new contract at Napoli.
The midfielder scored twice in victory over AC Milan on Saturday.
And it's emerged Napoli are now willing to hand Zielinski a pay-rise and also increase his €65m buyout clause to beyond €100m.
Before the season kicked off, the midfielder was asked about comparisons with Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne.
"It's an important comparison but I have to look at myself, I have to improve a lot to get to his level, there is something that can resemble the Belgian, but I assure you that I refer a lot to our captain (Marek) Hamsik," he said.
