Lazio boss Stefano Pioli believes they can finish inside the top two this season.

Lazio caught Napoli in third and sit only four points behind city rivals Roma.

"We must continue like this," said Coach Pioli after four consecutive Serie A victories, including a 4-0 drubbing of Fiorentina.

"We haven't achieved our objective yet and only at the end of the season can we sum up what we've done.

"What exactly is our target? To win every game and get back into Europe. Is second place a taboo? No, it's not. If we win all our games, then we'll finish high up the standings.

"We are a united and humble group with the right maturity to realise when we need to soak up pressure and when we should push hard.

"The results are also thanks to the work we do during the week in training. Everyone is important, even those who play less consistently."
