Philipp Wollscheid has been recalled to the Wolfsburg first team squad.

The on-loan Stoke City defender was dumped to the reserves last month after struggling for form.

However, new Wolfsburg coach Andries Jonker has recalled Wollscheid to the senior squad.

"He will be treated like any other player," said Jonker.

Wollscheid has managed just three games for Wolfsburg this season.
