Philadelphia Union technical director Chris Albright has backed Danny Cruz's move to Bodo/Glimt.
The 25-year old has joined the Norwegian Tippeligaen club on loan for the rest of 2015 which presents the chance to the out-of-favour Union winger to gain regular game time.
Of the move, Albright said: "This is a great opportunity for Danny to play regularly and we know he'll represent our club well while in Norway.
"While we're confident in our depth on the wings, this also gives us important salary cap relief as we continue to shape our roster throughout the season."
