Freddy Adu feels he is now getting to his peak match-fitness after scoring in his Philadelphia Union's 2-0 away win over Seattle Sounders on the weekend.
The 22-year old struck just after the hour-mark with a fine finish from close range as the Union went to the top of the Eastern Conference table and he Tweeted soon after the match that he was feeling good about playing with a solid fitness base ahead of the play-offs.
"Feels good to be finally game fit," he posted.
"Took a while but im finally game fit and looking forward to the rest of the season/playoffs."
Adu has now scored twice in five starts for the Union since his return from Europe in August.
