Manchester United managed to keep their homegrown record intact during last night's defeat to FA Cup opponents Arsenal.

Adnan Januzaj was the only member of Louis van Gaal's 18 to face Arsenal who met homegrown requirements, having joined the club aged 16 in 2011.

Januzaj got on the pitch in the 73rd minute at Old Trafford.

In doing so, United managed to just keep their proud record of having a homegrown player in each matchday squad since 1937 intact.
