Former Barcelona midfielder Emmanuel Petit says his time in Spain was frustrating.

Petit has explained that there was a lack of team unity in the squad and that he didn't feel welcome.

"The only thing I regret in my life is having changed Arsenal for Barcelona," he wrote in his autobiography.

"[The dressing room] was ruined by cliques.

"When I walked in for the first time most of them didn't pay me any attention or even greet me.

"There were three groups, the Catalans, the Dutch and the rest.

"It was goodbye to unity."
