Pervis Estupinan: World Cup now behind me; it's all about Brighton

Brighton fullback Pervis Estupinan believes that he has moved on from his World Cup disappointment.

The Ecuadorian was disappointed at how his nation was not able to progress beyond the group stages of the competition.

However, the Albion left-back now wants to focus on helping his side to defeat Everton in their next Premier League game.

He said, “I think at the start it was a bit strange to be back.

“We weren't expecting to go out of the World Cup so soon.

“But it's about dealing with it, coming back and concentrating and right now I'm good.

“I think the hardest thing was the emotional aspect of it.

“From a physical perspective I was fine because we only stopped for a short time and then got back to work because the league restarted quickly. So physically I'm good."
