PEC Zwolle star Trent Sainsbury was left devastated after his side were beaten 2-0 by FC Groningen in the final of the KNVB Beker (Dutch Cup) on Sunday.
Two late strikes from Slovakian midfielder Albert Rusnak were enough to prevent the cup holders from lifting the trophy once more.
Australia international Sainsbury, who came on midway through the second half, was unable to inspire his side to a late comeback but was determined to recover from the disappointment next season.
It hurts bad...but we will come back from this. With our fans supporting us it will ease the pain. #peczwolle#amazingfans

Sainsbury and his Zwolle teammates side now face Groningen again, this time in the Eredivisie, next Sunday as they look to secure a spot in Dutch qualification for the Europa League.
